Why is Asheville Indymedia so slow?

You may have noticed in the last couple days that Asheville Indymedia has been either very slow or completely down.

We found out that this is because one of our previous feature articles, Clowns KKKick KKK ass!, was recently featured on digg.com, generating enormous amounts of traffic, and slowing down the entire web server. Hopefully speeds will pick up soon, and hopefully we'll be able to better handle huge amounts of bandwidth in the future.
