The Southeast Conference on Mega-Dumps, Nuclear Power & Sewage Sludge
November 16 - 18, 2007
Proximity Hotel, Greensboro, North Carolina Concerned about landfills, mega-dumps, sewage sludge or nuclear power? Join with activists from FL, GA, NC, PA, SC, TN, VA and other states. Together we will create strategies for victories over mega-dumps, reactors and sludge.
WORKSHOPS on:
- Innovative and successful local, state and national policies and campaign strategies;
- Safe alternatives, such as zero waste and clean energy; Collaborative strategies to build a broader regional movement for precaution; and
- Trainings on organizing, media, legal action, corporate campaigns and health studies.
