Asheville Indymedia Mission Statement

Asheville Independent Media Center (AIMC) is a non-hierarchical autonomous collective that operates as part of an international network of IMCs. It is our mission to increase community access to vehicles of expression. We exist as an alternative to commercial press and seek to give exposure to groups and issues typically overlooked by mainstream media. For a more equitable and just society, all voices must be heard.
